DAILY ITINERARY

Day 1. DEPART NORTH AMERICA Board the wide-bodied jumbo jet to Thailand. Relax and enjoy your flight to the Orient with complimentary headsets, movies, beverages and meal service. (IFM)

Day 2. EN ROUTE As you cross the International dateline you temporarily "lose" this day.

Day 3. BANGKOK, THAILAND Arrive in exotic Bangkok and meet your tour manager and guide who will accompany you throughout your stay in Thailand. Your home for 7 nights is the 4-year old, 383 room Century Park Hotel. It offers attractive lobby and rooms with tasteful furnishings, marbled bathroom with separate bathtub & shower, hairdryer, pool, steam room, health club, beauty salon & restaurants. It is situated in the bustling commercial & shopping district of Pratunam, near the Victory Monument. (IFM)

Day 4. BANGKOK / CITY AND TEMPLES TOUR This morning you'll enjoy the sights of Bangkok as you tour this exotic city with special stops at the most interesting temples: the Marble Temple, the Reclining Buddha Temple and the Golden Buddha Temple. A wonderful introduction to this large metropolis and an insight to the Thai culture. (B)

Day 5. BANGKOK A day at your leisure to relax at the hotel, to do some shopping or to pursue your own interests. Your tour guide will be available to assist you with your plans. (B)

Day 6. THE ROYAL GRAND PALACE The highlight of our morning tour is a visit to the Grand Palace, the Coronation Hall, the Famous Emerald Buddha and the replica of the Angkor Wat Temples. Tonight, your tour guide will offer an optional visit to the Patpong night market. (B)

Day 7. BANGKOK A day at your leisure. Your tour guide will be available to assist with your plans. (B)

Day 8. THONBURY KLONGS CRUISE This morning we take a boat trip along the Chao Phraya River and the Klongs (canals) of Thonbury. The cruise will take us along cool, winding klongs where you can see typical Thai life along the banks and visit the Wat Arun - the famous Temple of Dawn. (B)

Day 9. DAMNEON SADUAK FLOATING MARKET / THE ROSE GARDEN / THAI VILLAGE SHOW / ELEPHANTS AT WORK Early this morning we depart Bangkok for Damneon Saduak where we board a long-tail boat for a visit to the famous floating market. Later, we continue to the picturesque Rose Garden for lunch. After lunch, enjoy the spectacle of a colorful Thai village show. (B, L)

Day 10. FLY TO CHIANG MAI Today we fly to Chiang Mai, known as the "Rose of the North". You’ll stay 4 nights at the Chiang Mai Orchid, the Empress Hotel, or similar. (B)

Day 11. CITY TOUR Chiang Mai was founded in 1296 and is Thailand’s second largest city. This morning enjoy a tour of this ancient city featuring the fabulous Wat Chiang Man Temple and monastery, a colorful local market, Wat Chedi Luang and Wat Phra Singh. (B)

Day 12. AT LEISURE A day at leisure and you may want to take an optional day trip to the famous Golden Triangle, where the borders of Thailand, Myanmar (Burma), and Laos convene. (B)

Day 13. KAN TOKE DINNER AND NORTHERN HILL TRIBE DANCES A day at leisure. Tonight, enjoy a Kan Toke dinner of Northern Thai dishes while enjoying folk dances and a hilltribe presentation (B, D)

Day 14. JOURNEY HOME Today we fly home arriving in the U.S. the same day ("gaining" back the day we "lost"), filled with wonderful memories of our exotic vacation in Thailand. (B, plus IFM)
